Nog tot 17 juni 2010 loopt er een oproep voor het inzenden van papers.

European Conference on Digital Libraries 2010: Call for papers

De 14e 'European Conference on Digital Libraries (ECDL)', hét Europese wetenschappelijke forum rond de digitale bibliotheek en aanverwante thema's, wordt dit jaar georganiseerd door de Universiteit van Glasgow. De conferentie vindt plaats van 6 tot en met 10 september 2010 in Glasgow. Momenteel loopt een oproep tot het inzenden van papers en demonstratievoorstellen. ICT-PSP Digital Libraries Information Day

Measures to make digital content in Europe more accessible, usable and exploitable, formerly funded under the eContentplus programme, have been continued since 2009 under the Information and Communications Technologies (ICT) Policy Support Programme ("ICT PSP"), one of three specific programmes implemented through the Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (2007-2013) ("CIP").

International Conferences on Digital Libraries and the Semantic Web

The International Conferences on Digital Libraries and the Semantic Web 2009 (ICSD2009) will take place from September 8-11 at the University of Trento.
The first ICSD was organized in 2007 by the Indian Statistical Institute in Bangalore (ICSD2007). The great interest in the conference showed the need to create a communication area between the two communities. The goal is to facilitate the creation of digital library applications which could be brickstones of the semantic web.

Digital library futures

On 25 August 2009 the IFLA Professional Committee, together with the Italian Government will organise a special one day conference on the topic of digital collections and users under the title 'Digital Library Futures: User Perspectives and Institutional Strategies'. This one day conference is being planned in connection to the IFLA World Library and Information Congress in Milan and will be held in the Università degli studi di Milano, Aula Magna in Milano, Italy from 09.00 - 18.00.
