Faculty of Arts

The Graduate School for the Humanities offers 4 positions to graduates in the Arts, within the field of the Institute for the Study of Culture/Literature (ICOG). Candidates submit a research proposal (max. 1500 words), related to one of the four themes:
- History and theory of politics
- Communication and media
- Transnational literary culture
- Arts and society
Candidates are expected to complete a PhD thesis within a four-year period. Candidates and their proposals will be judged on:
- individual research qualities of the candidate
- originality of the research proposal and relation to one of the themes mentioned above
- quality of the proposed methodology incl. sources
- prospects of completion within 4 years
- feasibility of supervision from existing research fields within the Faculty of Arts.
