Het Firmament presents...

After three years of research, Het Firmament established a complete inventory of everyone involved in puppetry in Flanders and of all the different puppetry collections.  Based upon this information, challenges have been formulated towards policymakers as well as towards the large heritage community of puppetry in Flanders. Never before this amount of information has been gathered.

In the presence of Flemish Minister for Culture, Joke Schauvliege, Het Firmament will proudly present the results during a festive event on September 11th, with different performances, presentations and interviews. It is an end as well as a beginning, the beginning of a real Center for Puppetry in Flanders.

Together with FARO, the Flemish interface for cultural heritage, Het Firmament will also present a publication, based upon the results of the research.
